We use the finest materials and take the greatest care to ensure that our cuvettes are the best available. Two sizes are available; 3.5ml (standard) and 1.5ml (semi-micro). All cuvettes have a 10mm path length and are 45mm high. The internal width of the semi-micro cuvette is 4mm. Fluorometer cuvettes have 4 sides clear. Cuvettes for use in the visible region are made from polystyrene. The cuvettes for use in the near UV are made from methacrylate. The cuvettes are designed to fit all standard instruments. The cuvettes are packed in 5 styrofoam trays with each tray holding 100 cuvettes. The trays have a tight fitting styrofoam lid which protects the optical surfaces and keeps the cuvettes clean. They are sold in packs of 500 cuvettes. We also have cuvette caps which are made from polyethylene. The caps are liquid tight but very easy to insert and remove making the cuvettes suitable for mixing and storage. The caps are sold separately in bags of 500 caps. |

Would you like to us a disposable cuvette in your 96 Well Plate Reader instead of wasting a whole 96 well plate for a few readings? Would you like to be able to make a measurement with a 10mm path length? The new CuvettePlate™ micro plate adaptor makes the use of cuvettes with your plate reader a quick and easy option. The plate can hold up to 8 cuvettes in a pattern over masked holes through the plate. The index numbers molded into the CuvettePlate™ will tell you at which postion your plate reader will be measuring the absorbance of your sample. The cuvettes are tilted at a slight angle to make sure that the bubble is kept away from the light beam of your instrument. |

The cuvettes that we manufacture, when used with our cuvette caps, work very well with the CuvettePlate™ in most plate readers. You can also use standard glass or quartz cuvetttes as well as standard reference materials for the calibration of your micro plate reader. The CuvettePlate™ is made of injection molded polymer. It is very easy to load. Simply put your sample in the cuvette, seal the cuvette with the cap and lay the cuvette into the CuvettePlate™. Load the CuvettePlate™ into your plate reader just as you would a 96 well plate and make your readings. Patent pending. |
